Adding Links
Adding a Link to a Website
  1. Type or copy/paste the text to be linked
  2. Highlight the text to be linked
  3. From the menu, select the LINK icon
  4. A pop-up menu appears
    source: type the website address
    target: (choose "blank” if you want to open a new browser window, often done when linking to external sites).
  5. To save your changes, press the [ insert ] button.



Adding a Link to an Email AddressFollow the steps for adding a website link (above) only select "mailto” in the source dropdown.
Adding a Link to Another Page on your Website
  1. Type or copy/paste the text to be linked
  2. Highlight the text to be linked
  3. From the menu, select the INTERNAL LINK icon
  4. A pop-up appears
  5. Select the page you want to link to from the list
  6. The pop-up will close automatically


Tip: Images can be links, too. Simply select the image you want to link by clicking on it and then follow the steps to add a link (above).


Adding a Link to an Image
  1. Click on the image so it is selected.
  2. From the menu, select the LINK icon
  3. A pop-up menu appears
  4. source: type the website address
  5. target: (choose "blank” if you want to open a new browser window, often done when linking to external sites).
  6. Insert the hyperlink. Click OK.




Adding a Link to Another place on the same Page(Bookmarking)
The function you want to use to use to link to another position of the page are called anchor tags. Here are some instructions on how to setup this feature. You can add anchor tags to any page with the SiteApex Editor bar this includes the Newsletter.


  1. Find the text or spot you want to send the user to and click that area with the cursor.
  2. Once you have selected the spot, click on the "Bookmark" button on the editor and name this bookmark an appropriate name so you can identify this spot later on. Click Apply and Ok.
  3. Once you have set your anchor, select the text or image you want them to click on to take them there. Well that text or image is selected click on the "Hyperlink" button in the editor.
  4. In the hyperlink pop up window select "Bookmark" and from the drop down list choose which anchor to send the user to. Click Insert and Ok.
